Marius 2006 Symposium Shiraz/Mourvedre

As in 2005 the blend is 50% Shiraz and 50% Mourvedre.

Vibrant purple with aromas of blue fruits, earth, spices, violets and leather.

The palate opens with blue and black fruits and and lots of earth and spice with the fruit building in the mid palate with chocolate.  A fascinating juxtaposition of sweet and savoury with firm yet ripe and fine tannins.  A wine of character with enormous length.
